THE GUADALUPAN SANCTUARY
Pick up at the airport and transfer to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Queen of Mexico and Empress of America. We will visit the Capilla de Cerrito del Tepeyac (Old Basilica), which was built to commemorate the three apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego and where there are six wall paintings by Fernando Leal entitled "The Guadalupana legend." Later, we will visit the new basilica to admire the ayate of Juan Diego, where the Virgin will capture her image. We will begin our in Xochimilco, a Heritage of Humanity, where we will be transported in an Aztec Boat, known as “Trajinera”. Then we will continue towards a panoramic tour in Mexico City through the magnificent Coyoacan district, its mansions from the XVI century and its San Juan Bautista Church are some of landmarks we will admire. In the same district we will visit Frida Kahlo’s Museum known as the “Blue House” (Casa Azul) where this reknown latinamerican artist lived.

At the start of the morning, we depart from Mexico City to the city of Cuernavaca (the city of eternal spring), tour our the city and continue to the town of Cacahuamilpa where we will enter the its famous caves, considered the second largest in the world. Within the grotto there are tunnels with a length of up to 10km. Their natuaral formatins form faces and figues such as those seen in the rooms of the goat, the
thrown, the fountain, the palms and the cathedral. After leaving the caves we will continue to a Silver Workship where they will explain how some crafts are made with this material and how to distingush silver from two other metals. We will continue to Taxco de Alarcón for a city tour including a visit of some silver smiths, the Temple of Santa Prisca and the Silver Museum, rest of the afternoon is free for shopping.

Departure from Mexico City, will enjoy a panoramic tour in Cuernavaca, the city of the eternal spring, to visit one of the oldest cathedrals in America, the palace of Cortes, its mansions and avenues. From there we will continue to the Sierra Madre to visit one of its trearues: Taxco, known as the “World Silver Capital”, lunch, visit the famous Baroque parish church of Santa Prisca, its cobble stoned streets and the silver artwork of its people.

Departing from Mexico City we will visit Santa Maria Tonanzintla and San Francisco Acatepec where you will meet their beautiful churches of Indigenous Baroque. Then we will admire the largest pyramid in the world in the archaeological zone of Cholula, and its 365 churches; continue to Puebla, World Heritage City declared by UNESCO, visiting its imposing Cathedral in its main square, the Rosario Chapel, considered the eighth wonder of the art world.

Day 1 - Guadalajara
Arrive to the airport, transfer to the hotel and city tour of Guadalajara. The tour includes a panoramic drive through the main avenues of the city; upon arrival to the historical center, we will begin the walking tour. The tour ends in the beautiful artisan village of Tlaquepaque.
Day 2 - Guadalajara / Tequila / Guadalajara
During our visit to Tequila we will know the Tequila Mundo Cuervo distillery, Jalisco, where we can learn about the elaboration process as well as taste some of its tequilas; white and rested, then visit the magical town of Tequila where our traveler can enjoy the main attractions such as the rich cuisine of the Town or make some souvenir purchases and take a nice detail of Tequila. Day 3 - Guadalajara / Chapala Lake / Guadalajara
On this tour, the first stop will be at the Tres Potrillos souvenir shop, continuing with the visit to the old station of the French-fronted train whose construction was completed around 1920, then visit the beautiful boardwalk of Chápala, walk it and enjoy The view of the largest lake in Mexico, we finish in one of the riverside restaurants of the Ajijic area where the cuisine is very varied and always very rich.
Day 4 - Guadalajara / Zapopan / Guadalajara
The venerated image of the virgin of Zapopan has a very special sanctuary. The Basilica is an architectural jewel, suitable residence for the so-called “Generalisima”. We will also visit the Huichol Art Museum, a living culture of the region that especially uses chaquira and stamen in the elaboration of its colorful handicrafts.

Departure from Cancun or Riviera Maya to Chichen Itza, founded in 514 BC, was one of the capitals of the great Mayan civilization today named one of the ” New 7 Wonders of the Modern World.” Visit to a cenote where passengers will have the option to swim in the cenote. You will enjoy a typical buffet lunch and visit the town of Valladolid. After the tour we will return to Cancun.
Day 3 - Cancun / Tulum / Cancun
Departure from Cancun or Riviera Maya to the archaeological site of Tulum was built on top of a cliff at the edge of the Caribbean Sea. It was an important trading port, one of the few Mayan cities still inhabited when the Spaniards arrived. In this archaeologica site you will learn of the Mayan history and its buildings, the Castle, the Temple of the Masks and the god Chic.
Day 4 - Cancun / Tulum / Cancun
Visit four different cenotes: K’aak’ the Fire Cenote, Ha ́ the Water Cenote, Lu’um the Earth Cenote and Iik’ the Wind Cenote. Enjoy Assisted rappel: be lowered by a set of special pulleys while being assisted by our guides. All you have to do is enjoy the scenery. This activity takes place at the Cavern Cenote. Zip-lines: choose between swing type zip-lines or the one where you hold a bar with your hands. Both end in a fun and refreshing splash. This activity takes place at the Ancient Cenote. Swimming and kayaking: get immersed in the cool waters of the Semi Open Cenote, then, enjoy kayaking through walls covered in lush vegetation and delicious food and beverages included in your package in the middle of nature.
Day 5 - Cancun / Coba / Cancun
The day begins with the visit of the archaeological zone of Coba from Cancun or Riviera Maya , you will visit the most important buildings such as Nohoch Mul and time to practice zip-lining about 3:30 hrs. Enjoy a delicious buffet meal that includes typical dishes of the Mexican Southeast while enjoying a beautiful view of the lagoon. Visit a beautiful cenote part of the network of underground rivers that are
found only in the Yucatan Peninsula, option to swim in this unique environment. 45 min approx. Continue to Tulum, you can explore it with a bilingual certified guide, you will see the imposing constructions of this jewel of the Mayan civilization facing the Caribbean Sea and travel through time crossing the enigmatic zone.
